>>> WTB: E28 with Euro Modifications <<<

Post by E28CFX1 »

Hello all-

I'm looking to purchase another E28 with Euro body modifications, preferably one with an M-Tech kit, and in good running and cosmetic condition. I've been in contact with a few people who are currently selling, including Stuart in TN with the silver on red 535is, and Jim in MO with the Diamond-Schwartz M535i.

I'm still thinking them through as both of those are great candidates, but I'd like to know if anyone is selling a similar car that's closer to Colorado. Shipping is absurdly expensive- some of the cheapest I've found is between $875-$985. So if you're in a neighboring state and have thought about selling, please let me know. I would consider flying out to complete the sale and driving it home.

Please let me know if you have what I might be looking for. Thanks for your time and happy holidays!

I know Kansas is a bitch to cross, but otherwise, we're like neighbors!!! I feel like my car would not only make the trip, but make the trip a helluva lotta fun! Carry a quart of oil along and top off every few hundred miles to offset the leaky crank seal, and she'll make it fine--the seal leak isn't dumping oil as of yet, and there's already a film there, so you're gonna need to clean up a bit nonetheless!! :D

Will call you Thurs. to discuss.

Yeah I've made the drive from St. Louis before and it isn't terribly bad. I'm interested in learning more about the car and available to chat today (New Years Day) if you've got time. Call whenever or I'll just talk with you Thursday.

Thanks,
