E28 subframe bushings size / dimension

Post by Lifewithapeperoni »

Hey everyone, I have a euro 81 525i with an m30b35 swap out of an e34 on m1.3

I can't seem to find any subframe bushings locally and mine are shit, being up in Canada with exchange and such it sucks. So I was going to 3d print some subframe bushings in TPU ( 95a polyurethane ) but just need some dimensions as well as maybe modify the bushings so I can raise my subframe a bit like e30 bushings do ?

I've tried to search lots but haven't found the information I need.

Looking for diameter, height, and then go from there

Or if anyone has subframe bushings for sale stock or what not will be fine as I plan to install a 86+ subframe and Arms once i find em

Thanks in advance

Based on realoem information, the rear subframe bushing p/n 33311130487 fits all BMW E28 models. I believe that the best solution is to find a brand new set - for sure you can get one from Europe, if there's no other source nearby - and fill them with poly.

To answer your question, according to the data published in Meyle online catalog, the bushing specs are:
Height 85 mm, Inner Diameter 15 mm, Outer Diameter 70 mm
