Adjustable fuel pressure regulator

Post by RossDinan6 »

The BMP Design adjustable fuel pressure regulator I have on the E24 Dinan turbo car I have had for years has a leaking diaphragm. It has worked great for the last 15 years, but sadly NLA. There are two choices now. Fabricate a new diaphragm, or replace the FPR. I would like to keep the FPR mounted in the stock position as it has been. The replacements I have looked at are remote, though possibly modified to fit.

Is anyone running an adjustable FPR in the stock location? Or. What material is the diaphragm made of to stand up to the fuel and flexing? My searching has had mixed results.

Not sure what you mean. Fuel rail? I assume so on an M30. Regulator? Likely as well. I was looking for aftermarket info.

Waiting for the adjustable regulator to arrive from Ireland Engineering. We'll see if it does what I am looking for it to do.

See this thread for details on the Kirban one. It’s great and is plug and play in the stock rail.
