1986 524td for sale

I am the proud owner of a 1986 524td. I bought the car in summer of '07 complete with a conversion kit to run on vegetable oil. The conversion uses coolant from the engine to heat the oil and has a nice aluminum tank in the trunk for the oil. It has a toggle switch to change from diesel to veggie oil. The car had 296,600 mile when I bought it. In October the odometer stopped at 297,800. I don't think I have topped 300,000 yet since I dont drive it much. I love the car and bought it for fuel research as part of my biochem degree. I have two kids and they dont like the car as much as the 1984 MB 300sd (its more of a family car). The only reason I am selling it is because I can't afford to keep both cars. I really love this beamer and it is a great car. i have all records up to 1991. Everything on the car works great including the AC, all windows, door locks. The original floor mats are in it as well as the tool kit on the lid of the trunk. It is tan ext/int. The leather is in great shape except for a small rip in the drivers seat. It has new belts, oil change, tranny fluid/filter, coolant, fuel filter. The engine is NOT leaking oil (which seems odd for a diesel this old) and it doesn't smoke much (only when shifting from 2-3 uphill). I don't have a link to pix but I can email them if requested. I am serious about selling this car, asking $4000 but will not turn down a reasonable offer.
