IIRC, those are the photos of the M5 owned by a BMW tech friend of Ron Perry. Ron was helping him sell the car and gave it high marks here on the board. Lots of $ spent on wheels/tires, stereo and brake upgrades, as I recall Ron's posting.

So how about CA, not OK , in the pix. Unless somebody bought the car in California and is now flipping it in Oklahoma, this looks like just another Ebay scam. Caveat emptor!!

Here's the original thread when Ron was selling the car for the guy: http://www.mye28.com/viewtopic.php?t=36091.

Looks like a scam to me. Why else would he fade out the license plate? It's out in the open in the photos originally posted here.

Whenever you see eBay language along the lines of, "contact me to discuss a reasonable price to purchase now," and there is no phone number listed and the seller has only one previous sale and has only been a registered eBay user for less than a month -- those are all warning signs. Another good tip-off is asking yourself, "does the car in the pictures appear to match the brief description?" I love it when a beautiful car, an M5 or whatever, is described in one poorly worded paragraph along with several photos showing a stunning, obviously enthusiast-owned vehicle.

Just my $.02 on bullshit eBay scammers.

Probably a scam. Notice user has only 1 feedback from another member who also has only 1 feedback. Now notice both users are new to eBay since Nov 21st.

All the bids were canceled, but now there are new bids. What is eBay doing?
