this auction will end early. Mark my word. Someone is going to grab this BAMF before you can say "BUY IT NOW".

Oops, you beat me to it as well. I just posted this on the M5 section. It's definitely a scam, see my message.

What is even better is they used the same damn pictures from the last auction 2 years ago! No mention of the car being Johnny Miller's car either-I guess there isn't a PGA santioned course in Nigeria. SCAM! Someone should report this guy to Ebay. I am pretty sure the car stayed in California after the last auction.

This car, IIRC was on the bay three times before it sold.

I don't hang around here much anymore....BUT....I do remember the posts bitching about the picture of the dog in the back of the car (from one of the times it was on ebay!). .....LOL!

Guys:

Saw Adam's post over on the M5 thread earlier and responded there.

If this is a REAL car that is REALLY for sale, I would be interested in it. If anyone knows the car and the owner, please get in touch with me. Otherwise, I have neither the time nor the inclination to deal with Ebay scammers.

Thanks!

As I said in my previous post, the car is the REAL deal, but it is for sale by a scammer. He even used the pictures from the previous auction when the car was in the Bay Area!

Move on.....sorry.

Seller has one feedback rating on a $10 PCV valve, from another one-feedback buyer. I smell something, too, though I don't see what's to be gained here. It doesn't even have the usual "contact me only at this yahoo.com email address" crap.

Speaking of Euro M5's on eBay...does anyone know what happened with the white Euro M5 that was on eBay about 6 years ago?? It was white with blue leather, and (I think) Style 5 or RS wheels. Was high-mileage with records of one engine rebuild, but looked very nice overall, and was located somewhere on the west coast. Just curious if it's turned up anywhere since then....

That sucks! I forgot about all those ebay scammers. Good thing someone picked up on it. That car looked very nice though. I wonder what the whole story is.......
