Turbo project completed. Since this was a piecemeal project compiling parts off of ebay, I was worried at the outcome. Car dynoed at 260 at rear wheels 297 torque, running at just under 10 pounds of boost. Best part was all the air/fuel looked fine no adjustments were necessary. YEA

aren't the hp numbers a little low? at only about 5-6 psi, i made 255 rwhp with no tuning and about 270 lbs tourque. just wondering?

no, I think the numbers are about right. Its supposed to be about 10 hp per pound of boost. a stock 88 535is is what about 150 rwhp so thats about right

Andrew don't forget you have the M30B35 engine with the 9:1 compression and higher flowing head. You have a slight advantage over us.... except we can run much more boost than you in the end

good call tj, but he made a lot more tourque then me, by about 20 lbs. where does that come from.

That can be dyno differneces(to a point). But, the b34 engine is specifically tuned for more low end torque, and sacrafices top end power. The b35 is tuned to sacrafice some low end torque for a little more high end power. The b35's cam has more duration in the cam,(slight), but that gives away some of the torque. Look at Todds dyno run with a b32 engine(272 cam, 3.2l), its torque output is alot lower than the b34 and b35, but the top end power is significantly higher, 333whp wiht only 316lb-ft. My b34 with ~ the same boost made 375lb-ft.
