intercooler?

new here just turbo'd my 535is, going to run 7lbs to start I know I will want more. Is air/water the only way to go on a e28 or is air/air possible Looking for suggestions. At what pound of boost will I need to change injectors?

What injectors do you have now? Stock?

As for the intercooler, air/water is very popular with the m30 due to space and pipe routing considerations. Air/air IS possible, but it's a heck of a lot more work to get in there in a spot with adequate airflow.

What turbo setup did you use? 745i setup or something else?

man that will be tough with just my MM head, the stock injectors were not enough.

I say 7psi is too much for the stock injectors, you need to beef them up or find another way to get more fuel in the engine.
