Duke,
That is beast is a work of art!! Are you going to run a MAF or just the MAP sensor? Just curious since with the stand-alone engine Mgmt you could do without the BPV (By-pass Valve) and go with a BOV (Blow-off Valve) and a little air filter for the valve cover vent. It would clean up a lot of the plumping around the valve cover. I know BPV are much more stealth in terms of noise, but you have stated that an uncludered engine-bay is one of your goals. Either way your engine looks amazing!! Great work.

I want one !@#$
that thing is F*$&%n incredible Duke. i'm just trying to figure out why you are using old hose clamps on an engine that nice and worth that much money. At around a dollar a clamp, i think i'd be using new ones everywhere.
just my .02, but it could turn into your 10,000 if one fails on the autobahn if you know what i mean.
i cant wait to see it in person when you get back here, lookin' good my man!

A Bypass Valve channels charge air back into the "intake" side of the turbo to help keep it spooled up between shifts. A Blowoff Valve simply wastes charge air.

[QUOTE="TCD"]It's much easier than stock.

I would have guessed it would be difficult to work around the heat exchanger...can you disconnect the air hoses and pull it out of the way to gain room for the socket wrench?
Since I've only been able to go by what I've seen in photos, I'm looking forward to checking out the turbo cars at 5erFest.

Reusing the clamps on the water hoses only. All other clamp will be new.
Awesome....how hard is your heart going to be pounding in your chest when you first start that up?
Very hard, will be the moment when I know that I have assembled everything right ......or wrong
And a big thanks to all of you for the great complements. The best feelings I get about this project is your reactions to what I am doing.

The intercooler comes out in a minute or two.
