Been there. My daughter drove my wife turbo Volvo that I had played with, and when a heater hose broke on the highway, she drove it until it stopped. I used muractic acid to get the slagged Alm. off the cly. wall, dropped in a new piston and rings, and buttoned it up... Ran great. I hope yours isn't more serious. Be sure to check that Exh. Valve.
What injectors/FP were you running at 20 psi?

Ouch! That reminds me of a lot of sled engines I've cooked over the years and in particular one that my buddy turbocharged. 210hp out of a 780cc 2 stroke was great.....when it ran. Man, tuning was a bitch with carbs and no electronics to help out. He finally fried the turbine and gave up on it last winter.

What happened. Did the injector break apart?

naa not too serious. i scored a set of Ross forged pistons on ebay last year which need about .002 more clearance in the cylinders, so a bit of honeing to get a scuff or two out, and the old junk is gonna be right back in business. already gave the head a look, the valves in that cylinder look ok, although i'll pull it apart, and give it a look, and relap all the valves. i was running 36# injectors to ~90PSI. not pushing too hard on them, ehh?
:D
gona pop some more appropiatly sized 50# injectors in this time. lets see if i can brain-fuck the motronic into ideling with them!!
