Hi Everyone,
I’m looking for a nice e28 m5 (Southern California area preferred but willing to travel/ship). The budget is available for the right car. I’m not interested in a museum piece but something nice that can be enjoyed every once in a while.
If you’re thinking of selling or have a lead, please reach out.
Thanks

Re: WTB E28 M5
Greetings from Perry, GA, Brett! Hope things are going well for you out on the left coast.
I currently have two very nice M5s. One may be for sale.
About 2 years ago, I bought a very nice euro-converted M5 from Redmond, WA and had it shipped east. I proceeded to get it up to spec and thought that it would be my "keeper" M5. Got about 96K on it now.
Then, about this same time last year, I was presented with the opportunity to buy Roy Wicklund's euro-converted M5. 46K at the time of my purchase. I first saw this car at 5erFest in Chattanooga in 2007 and have wanted to own it since then. That car arrived in Perry last April.
I figure the WA car is in the top 10% of surviving M5s and Roy's old car is probably in the top 5%. i don't need 2 of the same car - although they do make a nice pair in the driveway. Reach out to me if you want to chat.

Great to hear from you! I hope all is well with you and yours. All good on the left coast.
I’m very interested in hearing more about the car you are thinking of selling. I saw Roy w’s m5 a few times in the late 2000s so it sounds like you found your grail, hahah.
I’ll drop you a line to your yahoo account and we can go from there.
