This 1987 BMW 535is is finished in lapis blau with a tan interior. Mileage is 196,773. I am third owner. Modifications are limited to 15-inch BMW E34 basketweave wheels, an aftermarket Bosal exhaust system, Boge shocks, a Momo shift knob, and a Sony FM/CD unit with Boston Acoustics speakers up front.
All service records from 1993 (74K miles) onward are included, as well as original owner's manual and Bentley service manual. It is a southern car (Georgia, Tennessee, and California) with little to no rust. All body panels are original. Car is in very driveable condition. Issues are clear coat deterioration on upper body panels, stereo not receiving power, typical cracks in dashboard, and gas tank float gauge inoperative. A/C blows cold (R134 conversion at 190K miles). Last California smog certificate was 9/22/23. Car is in San Diego County, and has spent 10 of the past 13 years in a covered garage. Photos available.
