Hello! I have an 1988 518i, for some time I have had the problem that my window won’t go up ally the way, I have a manual window and not electrical, I have tried everything I can and know, but the arm that goes in the bottom slide thing get stuck in the brass bracket that holds the window in the guide, am I missing something?

The window is in both left and right slots.

Have anyone had this problem before?

I have manual windows, but only in the front doors. However, my next move would be to take the door card off the left working window, and then compare actuation. Note any differences in motion or mounting. Should be fairly straightforward, as is removal. Maybe you have an escaped e-clip or mounting issue ? I dunno.

If your regulator is not salvageable, they are still out there used and new.
