A/C Blower Motor

I'm seeking a replacement A/C blower motor. BMW part number on the entire assembly is 64 51 1 374 605; Bosch part number on the motor is 0 130 063 030.

I'm trying to see if I can source a new motor; my though is that a used motor would be something of a crap shot.

Several ebay sellers offer Bosch 0 130 063 013 as an exchange part for the 030 motor, but I can't verify this. This dude even shows a picture of an 030 motor with a 013 part number in his ad: https://www.ebay.com/itm/364115335074. I can find lots of sources showing the 013 as appropriate for my car, but this is not helpful because if this is a heater blower motor it will show as appropriate for my car.

Has anyone used a 013 Bosch motor as a replacement A/C evaporator motor? Pelican shows this part in stock (and cheaper than ebay), but they could not state that this is a replacement for my A/C evaporator blower.

Never mind. I found a seller with the 030 motor.

Alas, I dropped my old motor and busted one of the squirrel cages. So, I'll be buying a used motor just for the fans.

I was waiting for a response as I need to do something with my A/C blower as it's making a lot of noise.

Thanks!

Yeah, sometimes the bearings rust from lack of use. Getting at the outside of the bearing is not too difficult with the fan in the car. I did mine with a small needle oiler. Alas, in order to lubricate the inside of the bearing you need to remove the fan from the car. I did this too, but the fan speed still fluctuated on the bench even after oiling.

So, I got the supposedly new motor from the ebay guy in my first post above. Motor was not an 030 as advertised, but was instead an 027 (he put a sticker over the part to try to obscure this). It appeared that the 027 would fit, but the motor was not new. The main case had been wired brushed to clean it up, but they didn't get all the corrosion off near the electrical connectors. And the shaft also showed some corrosion around the fan hubs that had been brushed off.

I sent it back.

I'm going with a used one. The used one I bought is an 027 with the fans on, and it fits. Still don't know if a 013 would work. There are lots of guys selling new 013s on ebay, but given my experience with this guy, I wonder if they are really new or if somebody is rebuilding them and passing them off as new. Bosch does not show any of these part numbers in their current catalog.

FWIW I have two of the 030 fan and motor assembly. One is brand new and a used one. I am keeping the new one.

Autohaus AZ has them for about $54. "Blower motor" under HVAC. I've replaced a number of the evaporator fans using the Bosch motor and transferring the squirrel cages.
