BRONZIT BEIGE
5 SPEED CONVERTED
Little story about the car.
The vehicle started life as a regular stock auto 528e, with zero mods. But under my ownership i converted to a manual and made it look like a replica IS externally.
Bought the vehicle from Saskatchewan sight unseen during the pandemic.
The vehicle drove and looked exactly like the seller described when it arrived in winnipeg. Later on i discovered some little rust here and there when i looked at it and was like oh well now its time to start playing with it and started right away on it. I started to work on those trouble rust sections first and made the vehicle rust free, before i tackled maintenance side of it. So now it's rust free and extremely coated with fluid film lol.
Being familiar with bmws and e28 I started looking for a donor car for my manual swap and started on it with a bunch of maintenance work and replacing parts that I had or decided why not change them.
This is the list of parts replaced with less than 200 km on them that I replaced since 2020.
Timing belt
Water pump
Thermostat
Clean ICV
Valve cover
Spark plugs
Distributor cap, rotor, wires
Air meter
Throttle position sensor
Fuel regulator
Both fuel pumps
Fuel filter
Brake pads
New air filter
New clutch
Resurfaced Flywheel
Rebuilt Driveshaft
Adjustable st sway bars and links
New lowering spaxx springs and b8 struts
Suspension links
New rear main seal
New manual transmission bushings and necessary components for the swap.
New transmission mounts
New battery
Front airdam and rear spoiler
New fluids
Ac system recharged and converted to R134
And other little bits
I really like the car and want to keep it for a long time. I know how hard it's to find a nice e28 in canada, but I simply don't drive it and it seat in the garage due to my schedule and routine.
I hope someone here can take good care of it and enjoy it at the same time. I know its not the desirable 535i or a super eta, but its an e28 at the end of the day.
Now for the bad.
The dash is not a Crack free dash, the front air dam don't have the fog lights, the driver seat fabric is ripped, couple little scratches, stone chips, the wiper metal section under the windshield is not color matched, the passenger door has a little piece missing at the bottom, the bumper trims have some big screws, one signal lense has a scratch, the antenna motor don't work, the car is decat, the rear end is still original and that's it.
Its not your super pristine e28 from EAG or Glen Shelly, but its not a project or a restoration candidate. It's a very clean, running and driving old bmw.
Comes with a new manitoba safety inspection.
Also can include all the original parts, some good spare parts, extra head and old auto box.
If you have any questions pm and I will be happy to answer them.
Asking 12000 cad for everything.
Located in winnipeg, MB Canada
Can also arrange shipping
Thank you all and cheers.
