Last time I started my 86 524td smoke began billowing out of the engine compartment. The harness was melted. Mice had gotten to it. So I need another one. Anyone know where one might be located? I would also like to get my hands on a Euro injection pump. If I can’t get a harness I could put a mechanical pump on it and stick it in a small truck or something. Maybe make a motorcycle with the engine. Sort of a diesel roadog.

Btw. How much does the engine weigh?
