I've reinstalled my old tensioner.
I can't find a new one!!!
What to do?
Timing Belt Tensioner - Where O Where
Re: Timing Belt Tensioner - Where O Where
can you take the pulley off the bracket? I don't remember how that assembles. Pics would probably help here. Unfortunately I don't have my original to refer to.
If the pulley can be removed, it should be an easy thing to find a suitable replacement wheel. Or if the bearing can be pressed out of the pulley that would work too, but pretty sure my original was a plastic idler over-molded on the bearing so it can't be replaced.

Is this true? Does it really exist? Called and it forwards to voicemail (asking for VIN and part). Let a message and emailed using the site's form.
No response.
Why does BMW drive all parts requests using VIN? (I know, I know.)
Hopefully they will get back to me. (Not holding my breath.)

I haven't been able to find one either, I should have bought some extras back when they were plentiful
