Nice plumbing! Do you think this size intercooler will be effective enough? I've always wondered why our intake manifolds have a big chamber instead of direct intake to runner design.

intercooler fits there nicely.
The big intake chamber thing might just be for ease of casting reasons. Need to collect the individual runners into one area for the turbo connection, and it needs to be a large enough area so it doesn't restrict airflow out of the turbo.

Nice plumbing, very clean. What size turbo? No vacuum pump? Did you put in an electric?

drove it for the first time on thanksgiving after 8 months and all the work. It f-ing rips! 16psi of boost with the pump on an semi aggressive setting. slight black haze on wot/boost. 5 speed is great! really throws you back in the seat and transforms the car! could not be happier. if you want power. I have to recipe! -Paul

Did you have to use headstuds for that boost pressure?

This is awesome, thanks for sharing! I'm glad to see the HX30 works well, as I have one sitting on the shelf to use on my M21 eventually. Keep us updated!
