I'm looking for a well maintained td, and would prefer an original-owner vehicle. While I realize it's an unrealistic expectation, I would prefer the car to have less than 100k miles. I will consider higher mileage vehicles as well, of course.

They are out there...there is a very nice one that was at 5er Fest '06, like 50k miles and perfect. From Chicago I think. It would have taken top dollar to get it though, I believe...

Not bad, but $275k? For that money I'd much rather have a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano

The Seattle car looks pretty nice though. If I was in the market, that might be one worth traveling for.

Ive got an 86 524td for sale. It has been really well taken care of but i am not the original owner. I bought it last summer in Pennsylvania complete with a conversion kit installed to run on vegetable oil (not Biodiesel). It has a few cosmetic issues but it is it great mechanical condition. i would like $4000 for it but will not turn down a reasonable offer. I can supply pix and any other info.
