SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA (EAST BAY) - 82 528e ANY INTEREST?

I've got a '82 528e with VERY high mileage, about 300k on the engine and 400k on everything else. It is driven every day and passes the smog test! It has Konis, Momo steering wheel & shift knob and Recaro LSL Black Monza seats otherwise it is bone stock.

Here is the deal. The Bay Area Air Quality Mgmnt District will give me $685 - $750 for the thing and then crush it. I think it is much too nice to crush. It would be a good BART parking lot car or an entry in the Tour de Lemons at Altamont Pass. The Recaros (in excellant condition) are coming out and sold seperately for $750 for the pair. I will reinstall the stock seats. I will take what the state will give me for the car or if you want both, do the math.
