You may need to travel out a bit further to find the right car... don't limit yourself to a few states. Perhaps the whole east coast would offer more choices, etc., and certainly give you a better chance of finding want you are looking for... but, you never know you could get lucky locally. Good luck.

And I have been looking nationwide over the past week.
COME ON, PEOPLE!
I have a wad of cash burning a hole in my pocket! If you have the right car, you have a sale!
I understand your frustration. I looked for 5-6 months before I found a suitable car. I had money ready to go. There were a couple I should have jumped on, but didn't. Lots of crappy cars came up for sale. The car I found was never advertised, rather I heard about it through a comment made by the owner at a get-together. Be patient and really consider the cars you look at. Good luck! The Baron wrote:You're absolutely right.RoyW wrote:You may need to travel out a bit further to find the right car... don't limit yourself to a few states. I'm trying to be as patient as possible, but my situation is a little different than most.wkohler wrote:I understand your frustration. I looked for 5-6 months before I found a suitable car. I sold my Dodge Ram a little while back, and I have been getting around on my Yamaha R1 motorcycle. Well, the cold weather has really made me kick my car search into high gear.
Much more of riding @ 45-65 mph speeds in 25-degree air, and I'm going to be a 225-pound popsicle.
I NEED YOU GUYS' HELP TO FIND MY CAR
I might die of hypothermia soon without it!

it's a nice car, runs great, but like all older cars needs work. the original seats were taken out and were replaced with some kinda recaro sport seat... not bmw. paint is in good condition, but does have it's fair share of dings; once again... common. to be perfect it would need dings fixed, dash, shift boot and seats. other than that it's great!!
oh, the front bumper was pulled off to shadow line and clean up the surrounds and will back on shortly. $3k firm

Why should anyone help you find a E28 ? I haven't seen a definitive list of your selection criteria, only vague statements. Maybe you should start over with a new thread. In the new thread state exactly what you're looking for, including the price range you're shopping. The Baron wrote:Still looking, guys.
I've seriously considered four or five now, but none have been the right fit yet.
I really need a car.....not just for a toy.

Just kidding. I'll get right on that.
