'85-'87 E28 5-series wanted in Virginia
If any of you guys come across a nice example in VA, DC, MD, heck, even eastern PA......let me know, will ya?
You guys know your E28's, so your help would be greatly appreciated!

Just wanted to renew this thread.
I'm still looking for "THE" car.
I've looked at quite a few in detail online, and one in-person.
Once again, here's basically what I'm looking for:
'84-'88 535i or 535iS
In VA, DC, MD, PA, NJ, NC......or almost ANYWHERE!
I would consider shipping it quite a ways if it were "THE" car.
Thanks again, guys.
Let me know if you have any leads.

Yeah.....went to see / drive it.Patrick McHugh wrote:Ah! i just realized you're the same guy who posted on the Richmond forum. Did you ever go look at that blue one? It looked decent.
Nice car...good condition.
Still fitted with the the metrics ($$$ to replace).
It was an automatic (not a deal breaker for the right car)
And he wanted what I felt was a bit too much.
I'd love to make a purchase before Christmas!!!
Metrics aren't a big deal to replace. Plus, it's cool to get the original wheels with a car. You can get wheels and tires for about $500, and the car will look better too.The Baron wrote:Yeah.....went to see / drive it.Patrick McHugh wrote:Ah! i just realized you're the same guy who posted on the Richmond forum. When you say you can get wheels and tires for $500, where might that be? Seems awfully inexpensive.wkohler wrote:Metrics aren't a big deal to replace. I'm still looking for the car, though.
I've crossed the one I looked at last week with the metrics off my list.
I REALLY prefer a 5-speed.

Something fishy about the one in Richmond. He's had "more photos & info coming soon" for over three days now, and I've emailed him TWICE to ask him what's up. No response.
Something not legit there.
