528e external power mirror motor mounting screw/thread size

Does anyone know what size the small screw/threads are that mount the exterior mirror motors to the mirror housing?

Two of the screws would not come out, it seems like the PO used some sort thread locker and the screw heads snapped off trying to remove them. So i've had to drill the remaining screw out of the hole. I think I now need to re-tap the threads so they are clean enough to reattach the motors. So i need to know the screw size and if I can find a matching tap for the threads. Thoughts?

thanks but i"m not referring to the screws that mount the mirror to the door, but actually the four screws that mount the motor inside the housing to the housing itself. I tried to measure and best I can tell, they are M3 x.5. I tried retapping with an M3x.5 tap and seemed to work and the screws when back in securely and easily.
