Q&A Turbo M20 Build Sheet Questions.

Post by Euroboidrew »

So today, I gather here, with the realization that I am in-fact, taking my E28 completely apart, and restoring it from the ground up. In-fact, the motor is already almost out, with only motor mounts, and the driveshaft holding the motor and transmission in. So, I come today to ask if anyone has a turbo M20 that they can share their build sheet, and any photos? I am planning on getting the car spick and span. I know it's going to be quite a while before its done, but one can dream can't they! I am very particular about how I want it done, very neat and functional etc.; I can use the advice as digging through pages and pages and even more pages of parts is starting to drive my ADHD ass up a wall. Thanks! I can't figure out how to post a photo of my E28, but I have a photo from a recent thread of mine. I am looking for motivation! because sometimes this project car is just a mess!

Posting pictures is easy, once you get the hang of it. Short course, it has to be hosted elsewhere. A bit more here, https://www.mye28.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=147488

As far as turbos and M20s go, look to both the Forced Induction subforum and anything from https://www.mye28.com/memberlist.php?mo ... ile&u=9382 He was way into them, sold it, got out, but now he's back. And he's got a lot of knowledge, a whole lot.

I documented my latest build pretty thoroughly. There are numerous threads on the other ones going back to 2007, if you want to dig through the archives and wade through the slap-fights and pissing contests.

Oh I think it's not easy for me. It took me a long time to adapt to it.
