Welcome to the board and GLWS.
Re: For Sale: 1987 BMW 535is - Factory 535is Model
Thanks for the welcome. I am a long time lurker here, and love all the info on this site and how supportive everyone is.
Sad to see my E28 go. So many good memories with this car but I just don't drive it or give it the time it deserves.
I hope someone picks it up that loves these cars.

Re: For Sale: 1987 BMW 535is - Factory 535is Model
How was your overall experience with cars and bids?
I have a very very similar car to you’re in San Diego and I’m contemplating between C&B and BAT.

Re: For Sale: 1987 BMW 535is - Factory 535is Model
I'm also curious about the experience selling a car on C&B. I wonder if the OP will ever return, seeing that he has sold his e28?
Re: For Sale: 1987 BMW 535is - Factory 535is Model
For e28's, BAT is still the go to spot. E28 cars don't seem to do well on C&B, BAT always gets better $ across the board.
Do research, see the results on like cars for yourself. My experience was a year ago+-. Went with Cars n bids, car did very poorly, I was lucky that the buyer backed out. Sold it on CL for $1000s more in less than 1 day.

Re: For Sale: 1987 BMW 535is - Factory 535is Model
Thanks for the intel, kojo96. It definitely seems like BaT and C&B attract different buyers, affecting how much they are willing to spend on our cars. My next question is, how do the two compare in terms of ease of use, communication, etc. from the site's standpoint? In other words, ignoring the potential sales price of the car(s), which would you (and anyone else who has considered and/or used the sites to auction cars), which is preferred?
Thanks again!
Thanks again!

Can you share some pictures?
Re: For Sale: 1987 BMW 535is - Factory 535is Model
Thanks for that info. I will be attempting to list my high mileage 280k E28 in Alpine White/Cardinal. Car is very, very clean if you can get past the miles.
