TheBestParts

Post by OilBurner524TD »

Has anyone used AFAB "TheBestParts" out of Montana before? They have a complete timing kit for rent and a complete timing belt component kit as well. I've called twice now to no avail.
On a side note, if these folks don't answer, does anyone have a timing service kit I could buy?

I still haven't used it yet. Give me more time to utilize it on my own.

Nope! I still haven't used it to this day. Looking for a perfect opportunity to do that.

It might take a few days before it would arrive at our front porch. I'll be on stand-by.

A bit of a change in the weather today, so that's at least good.

My wife even did the laundry today. At least, that's one task off the list already. ;)

forecast is looking up, this weekend I might start messing with the boat. Its due for a water pump and plugs this year. Also have my late uncle's boat to evaluate and possibly fix. Not going to put a ton of effort into it, but if I can sort it out without too much trouble it should help my aunt sell it for a reasonable price. Much easier to sell a running boat vs a non-running one. I'm buying his truck, will probably pick that up this weekend, may drag the boat home with me and at least see what it does and doesn't.

Nice! Congratulations on the purchase! :) Pretty good decision, if you ask me.

Its not exactly what I'd like to have, but its the best deal I'm likely to get and its something I can live with. Its just more truck than I really need but nobody makes small trucks anymore. The S10 is just getting too rotted.
