So I received my King Bearings finally... I inspected them and started getting bench/shopcleaned up to prepare for plastigage and main/rod bearing installation.

4 of my 12 mains from KING bearings had imperfections and knicks -_- ... so I will NOT be installing these.... I will be ordering some Glycol bearings from Ireland engineering

All of the rod bearings looked good after inspection so I went ahead and plastigaged' all of them and got them in...

I put an S366 on my car recently and it is definitely laggy. came from a comp T04e 61mm which spooled quickly. I too was looking for more and I probably went too big. I will say once the car builds boost its like a freight train but just depends what you are looking for. keep up the good work!

I am buttoning up the oil/timing chain assembly, although I forgot to order the oil pump chian tensioner...waiting on it to arrive now.

I also pulled the car out, decon’d and used fall-out remover to get shop dust/metal dust off paint… cleaned engine bay to prep for painting.

i'm not a fan of that kevlar clutch you will burn it alive before you can make good use of that turbo.

I've had good luck with my clutch masters clutch (10 years+). I don't abuse it like I used to, and only drive it once in a while, but, it still works great. I'm only making about 350ft#, so I guess it depends. What are you using Shadow?

Did you run the segmented kevlar... this clutch?
Did you do the 800-1000 mile break-in period? I talked with Todd at TCD and this was what was recommended... although I do not want to get it together and have the clutch slipping once I get the tune nice...

yup! That same clutch.
kevlar never ever ever breaks in it's like cloth. That's why kevlar lasts forever if not abused.
i wouldn't go past 450tq to keep it safe but once you overheat it it'll never be the same.

it's a good clutch but just saying if you have a 66mm turbo you won't get near what that turbo can do
with that clutch. 57mm would've been better.

here's my flywheel after years of work.
still as new. pretty impossible to break in kevlar at 500mi or 1000mi.
not talking shit it's a great clutch but it'll over heat even if you do get to 500tq, once, then melts.
i did it on the dyno it smelled the room but it held.

i'm using the ceramic one no lie it feels about the same as the kevlar
was ready for it to be a grippy chatter monster, but it's fine! Also got from TCD


btw a good hack to save the clutch is to get your tq and raise boost with rpm to keep torque as flat as you can
so you ride that safe tq to redline making as much HP as u can.
i think mine made 460tq at 16psi then raised it to 18psi after peak and made 480hp. raise it to 20psi. whatever just keep that tq flat.
mine just ran out of injector so 19psi was the limit 4 me for now.

I'm not sure, but ,I don't remember mine being segmented (10 years and c.r.s.). It was a kevlar from clutchmasters , I'm sure of that. Sounds like you and Shadow are at another level though.

theres even a recent change in their PP
its a different PP with different fingers and is balanced compared to the one i got like
5 years ago or who knows how long which was not balanced btw.
