Re: Nutria interior
There are less than 10 e28s in the USA with Nutria interior. I only know of 3. I would be interested in a few pieces if you decide to part it out.

If you have the shift boot I'd be very interested.

From a thread a few years ago, Kohler determined that my interior was Mocca, but it also looks a lot like Nutria

Re: Nutria interior
Your brown interior parts are nutria-brown. Moccha-brown ist more like peaunut-butter. Your interior ist called "Berberbeige"travisj wrote:From a thread a few years ago, Kohler determined that my interior was Mocca, but it also looks a lot like Nutria

Moccha-brown used till 9/82
Nutria-brown used from 9/82
Your interior ist rather special as it isn´t only Nutria, you have one of the really rare tri-color factory interiors. Dashboard, etc. black, consoles, carpet, etc brown and the seats with a type of beige leather.
There was:
"0128 Gobibeige", used till 9/82 (Black Dashboard, etc; Moccha-brown carpet and consoles; Beige leather (color unknown to me, looks like sand, color has a lot of yellow in it, but sure not perlbeige or pergamentbeige))
"0163 Berberbeige", used from 9/82 till 9/84 (Black Dashboard, etc; Nutria-brown carpet and consoles; Beige leather (color unknown to me, a bit darker than perlbeige, with a little dose more brown/grey in it, but sure not perlbeige or pergamentbeige)

Re: Nutria interior
I have the same Mocha & Berberbeige combo. I'm trying to find a solution to replacing my kick panel. With the lack of these colored parts I'm considering getting a more common colored panel and spray painting it the right color. Ghetto I know, but my kick panel can only handle being removed a few more times. Its cracking and falling apart.

Re: Nutria interior
Was there another color option for the consoles, glovebox and such? My 84 528e had a black dash, cardinal seats and what I always called an Olive colored glovebox, console and carpet.Boneyard Dynamics wrote:Your brown interior parts are nutria-brown. Re: Nutria interior
So is the wife's ex-chariot on the list? It's missing some seat plastics, guess it would be a long search.
