I have worked through the parts cars ... Is there a economic source or re-builder for the diesel lift pump ? carracar

Preston, if the in tank pump is similar construction to the gas in tank pump, then you should be able to cannibalize the junk parts to revive a pump. The pump comes apart and one of the motor's brushes has worn out. I stole a brush, re-assembled and motored on. Pumps are pretty simple. A little soldering and ....
