New member here. Why can't I see member email contact info? Only PM shows up.

Sorry, I'm a newbie to forums. Shouldn't I be able to send an email to a member through the forum? My profile is set to let members contact me via email and the other member is also set up that way. He was able to send an email to me but I didn't see a way to send him an email first. Just PM shows up as a contact method.

Since you don't mention which user this is there's no way to check, but you can always reply to the e-mail he sent you. That will go back to the e-mail he has associated with his handle. "Send user e-mail" shows up when you click the user name and also directly to the right of the PM button under their name when looking at one of their posts, IF they have that enabled on their account.

MisterFixit is the member. I was able to reply to his email. I only see PM under his name and yours for that matter. I checked other posts and see PM, website, and AIM icons for other users but no email. Maybe I have something set wrong but I just left the defaults set when I registered. Maybe email isn't a popular way to send info.
