so i went to englishtown with my buddies at ICS this weekend. they brought out a 550 rwhp m3 and a 472 rwhp 328i so i was definetly out matched. but none the less, went against them and had lots of fun. i was only running 5 psi and this was my first time at the strip so there are a lot of rookie mistakes and inexperience. that being said, i managed a 15.0@96 mph and my best overall trap for the day was 97 mph. I did manage to waste an e36 m3, a v8 jeep with some mods, and george took my car out once and beat a trans am ls1 so the 5er made a decent showing. The car will be heading to ICS soon for a full TEC3 system, boost bump and the intercooler when the new TCD item is ready. http://www.prmproductions.com/Card%...urnout_0001.wmv . Here is my race against card counter with his 472 rwhp 328i. i thought i had him too until he locked up!!! i will see if i can get any of my time slips scanned just so we all can have a good laugh. next time, i hope to be breaking into the low 13's. we shall see.

There you go.

gol10dr1 - how much boost are you running? Which turbo do you have? And what kind of exhaust? Damn just give me all the specs.

Gah our cars are such slugs off the line

TJ, an educated guess says he's running a TCD Stage 1 kit at 5 PSI of boost.

Just an educated guess.

:p

:D

EDIT: I just checked out the video. Holy crap, that E36 was fast once it hooked up in 2nd gear! 400+ RWHP will do it.

Doesn't Todd's 535i have like 450+ RWHP, though? Sure will be great to see that beast at the 'Fest!

last time todd dynoed with the stock motor and t61 he made 373 rwhp. the 328i i went up against was a stock internals, low compression h/g, with a gt35r turbo. that thing made 472 rwhp at 17 psi, so we did some work on the exhaust on friday night and changed the diff./ he took it for a drfive and just with a new, less restrictive muffler, the thing spiked up to 25 psi comfortably!!! so once he hooked up he blew past me and trappeda t 124 mph on that pass. best time of the day for our group was 11.5@127 mph by george in one of his turbo m3's. as for my motor. i have the tcd s1 with the full 3" exhaust. will be doing lots more soon in hopes of reaching the 12's eventually.

Andrew,

The new, 500 HP Vette Z06 and the supercharged 500 HP Ford GT both trap at about 127 or 128 MPH. Your buddy's blown E36 trapping at 127 is most definitely a feat! WOW!

Out of curiosity, what was his time on that run. You said the trap was 124, so it couldn't have been more than a few tenths off of the 11.5 that George ran in his M3, right?

in that vid, when he trapped 124, he ran a low 13 b/c he spun like hell off the line. that car is a monster but the black m3 is just insane. 530 rwhp at 1 bar boost. george is already talkin about getting back to the track with 20 psi and drag radials. nuts!!
