This time I was running the stock wastegate, 6psi. According to the gauge it was making 5.5 psi, which given the power levels seems about right.
263rwhp and 260 rwtq corrected. At 8psi last October it made 283/291. I toned it down because I was getting bad detonation and wanted to play it safe.
As a data point, I put on a friend's manual boost controller but couldn't get it working right. The boost climbed up to 10psi at 4400 before I let off, though the numbers at that point were great- 253rwhp and a satisfying 301rwtq. I got scared though and that's why I didn't let it run up any higher.
The water injection is doing its job and I didn't have any detonation, unlike the last time I was there.
Just got back from the dyno

I got it on ebay from aquastealth.com. It's a decent kit, but I paid $179 for it which is probably about $50 more than it would cost to put it all together myself. I was in a hurry and didn't want to have to hunt down the parts myself so IMO it's worth it.Could you give some details about your water injection system? I've been wondering about trying that as an alternative to mounting an A/A IC in my e24, which I'm thinking will be a bear to do if I ever get around to it.
